American Heroes Say Wilson Has Courage and Leadership Needed for Attorney General

WEST COLUMBIA, SC – Republican Candidate for Attorney General Alan Wilson has received the endorsement of numerous highly decorated veterans from wars spanning the past 70 years.  Co-Chairs of Veterans for Wilson include Adjutant General Stanhope S. Spears and Medal of Honor Recipients Major General James Livingston, U.S. Marine Corps Retired and Colonel Charles Murray, U.S. Army Retired.

“It is an honor to be endorsed by these true American heroes. These men have served their country with great distinction.  As a Major in the South Carolina Army National Guard, I look to these extraordinary leaders as an inspiration for a job well done both as a military officer and as a prosecutor,” said Wilson.

“Every time I put on the uniform of the United States Army and every time I enter a courtroom, I feel a tremendous sense of pride for my country and our freedoms which military men and women will tell you aren’t really free.  As a soldier, I took an oath to uphold the United States Constitution and I will do the same as Attorney General,” Wilson continued.
