Sheriffs Call Alan Wilson Best Choice for Attorney General
Law Enforcement Leaders Proclaim Wilson the Proven Prosecutor Needed To Keep Families Safe
More than one-third of South Carolina’s sheriffs are formally supporting Alan Wilson for Attorney General. The sheriffs are members of both the Republican and Democratic parties and fight crime in every corner of the state.
“I am honored to have the support of these fine law enforcement leaders. These men and their deputies are the most important crime fighters in America. They are the heroes who keep our communities and families safe on a daily basis,” Wilson said. “Having the support of Sheriffs from across the state is the highest honor one can receive while running for Attorney General.”
In the signed group letter of support below, the sheriffs praise not only Wilson’s record of leadership as a prosecutor in the courtroom and but also as an officer in the South Carolina National Guard.
The group letter of support from the sheriffs reads:
“In this brave new world, nothing is more important than making sure South Carolina is the safest place to live, work, and raise a family.
It is imperative that we have an Attorney General with the proven experience, courage, and leadership to keep our families, our children, and all of our citizens safe.
