PROSECUTORS BACK ALAN WILSON FOR ATTORNEY GENERAL
60 Former and Current Prosecutors Understand the Need for Prosecutorial Experience
WEST COLUMBIA, SC – Republican candidate for Attorney General Alan Wilson has received the endorsement of 60 current and former South Carolina prosecutors.
“We know Alan Wilson is the best choice to be the next Attorney General of South Carolina,” said Donnie Myers, Solicitor of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit. “Alan has recent prosecutorial experience. He’s been an Assistant Solicitor and an Assistant Attorney General and uniquely understands the needs of the law enforcement community to keep our families safe.”
Randolph Murdaugh, III, former solicitor of the Fourteenth Judicial Circuit, agreed. “We have worked with Alan and we can tell you first hand that Alan Wilson is the Attorney General South Carolina needs as its top prosecutor,” Murdaugh said.
Myers and Murdaugh are co-chairmen of Prosecutors for Wilson.

These leaders in the courtroom have protected our communities and put those who seek to do harm behind bars. In addition to the support of South Carolina prosecutors, several noted leaders have endorsed Alan Wilson including distinguished veterans, sheriffs and prominent state GOP figures.
Wilson is a proven prosecutor and an Iraq War combat veteran. He is a former Assistant Solicitor and a former Assistant Attorney General. Wilson and his wife Jennifer have two young children, Michael and Anna Grace. They live in Lexington.
