I disagree with you on your segment with Elizabeth Prann. I don’t care about the LGBT or their issues. I was going to vote for Trump, but if this new GOP is going to push gay issues like the Democrats then I will just stay home.

I agree with @eric Groves this GOP party is just Democrats light and John Q Citizen response about gay marriage is why I reject the LGBT..Hey John Q Citizen. The Orlando Attacks happened get over and accept it.

Can you please explain to me why SC is not apart of the lawsuit against the Federal Government pertaining to the transgender bathroom issue in public schools? We fought the civil war over state’s rights and this is clearly a state’s right issue. Why are we sitting back and allowing the Federal Government to dictate what we can and can’t do, while threatening the holding of federal tax dollars that we paid into the system? This is tyranny!!! The President is not a dictator, nor does he have the power to run the government by executive orders. Where are the no good, lousy Republicans when it comes to standing up to this CRAP???

Hello Mr. Alan Wilson. Currently, I am a freshman business major at Francis Marion University. I am an active member of FMU College Republicans. I wanted to infer if you offered any internships or volunteer opportunities to college students. I would like to get involved politically in this great state of South Carolina and add to my resume.

I wrote earlier about unfair pay practices by Suminoe Textile America. Well your response was that you basically support this and ignore citizens. I worked there from Aug. 2013 to Nov. 2014, from Aug. 2013 to Aug. 2014 made 11.35 an hour when others were making 12.36 for same job and duties.Took leadman job at 12.36 hour in Aug. 2014 with understanding I would be making 14.42hr. But at the 90 day mark they rigged a paper showing I would only get I would only get 13.72 an hour, while others with job and title got 14.42 an hour. I emailed others in the company, and next day was put in a meeting with supervisor Scott McClooney and dept. head Tim Gaddy who bullied me in the meeting so I quit.

I emailed SCDEW about this and have been turned down for help, if I put it in writing that is better than anything else you could want. I swear to all of this on a stack of bibles. Also I never quit for personal reasons, they retaliated against me because I made a fuss a month earlier for us not been reimbursed for going to a meeting at another plant while been on company time. I was told by many different people that Tim Gaddy buys pain pills from 1st shift leadman, this company also sends trailers down Interstate 85 with bald tires and no tags, lights out. They have no plan for spill clean up at the Cowpens plant.

I not letting Suminoe get by with screwing people over, I will contacting EEOC and BBB Tuesday about the situation with Suminoe, SC AG, and SCDEW for not taking this claim serious, I will be asking BBB to help with media help on the common worker in your state of SC been ignored not been paid fairly. Thanks Gregory Reinhardt I swear to all of this on a stack of bibles that this holds true.

Let me be the first to sign up supporting AG Alan Wilson for either re-election or Governor in 2018, whchever seems right for you. Marriage is not an issue for me, as you are doing your duty upholding state law. I am supporting the man of character and courage who is the best leader to succeed Governor Haley. You can count on me and I will have your back.

Alan Wilson, You sir are a closed minded bigot. I can not believe in this day and age that someone would still try so hard to deny happiness to gay couples. You should be removed from office immediately.

Dear Alan, I vote Republican and I recently voted straight-ticket Republican to expree my extreme dismay at what is happening to our country’s economic and defensive security. However, I truly believe it’s time to let the gay marriage opposition go. I have friends and co workers who are gay and they are good people and good parents. Many of them hold conservative (economic) ideals, but they are deterred by Republican gay marriage opposition. While I don’t want certain LGBT values pushed in school, or our own hetero matters either, I find it hard to believe that we continue to deny the right, or whatever anyone wants to call it, for two consenting adults to marry. And a public vote is absurd in my opinion as well. No one should vote to deny this right to others. Just my opinion. Please help us all focus on dealing with Obamacare, border security, strong economics, defense, and making America a strong and prosperous beacon to the rest of the world! Lee Monk, Jr.

Mr. Wilson, want to thank you as a State Representative for wanting to uphold South Carolina stance on marriege between a man and a woman. The questions have not been raised as to why The LBGT Community is so bent on pushing their agenda on Christians and not the Muslim Community? The question is this which I’m sure no Local, State, Federal, or Supreme Court Jidge can or will answer. If, the LBGT Community, states or feel that they are being discrinated against. Do, those who believe in Poligamy are not being discriminated against? It is not their same right to have more than one wife, since the Courts at all levels cannot and will not define what a marriage is and how they arrive at their conclusion? If the LGBT Community feels, it is their inherent right to marry who thay want, it is a Poligamist same right to have as many wifes as they want, and the same should apply to women. Our laws are, based upon Judeo And Christian values dderived from Common Law, derived from the Bible. Once again, if the Court cannot and will not uphold marriage as defined between a man and woman, they cannot be, discriminatory against another group who also feel, it is their right to marry, one, two, three or, four women. The courts must first be able to define what a marriage is and as stated, how they arrive at their findings. Otherwise, anyone anywhere can raise the isuue the court is being prejudice against another group for their beliefs and it has an adverse impact on them.

It is sad that you do not represent all people of South Carolina. Even though people disagree with same gender marriage, it is a human right. Remember to separate church and state. You cannot reference the bible to determine a state law. In addition, where in the bible does it say that two people cannot love each other? Anyway, do whatever it takes to make marriage equallity legal in South Carolina for all people, including same gender. You are waisting tax payers money by fighting this loosing battle. Take care of Ebola and let people love each other.

I voted for you before, and appreciate your work on cleaning up the SC legislature, but I will not vote for you again unless you drop your futile defense of the gay marriage ban. Your defense cannot win, and pursuing it wastes your time and that of your staff. It is also wildly out of line will core Republican values that give primacy to individual autonomy and eschew State interference with private lives. Your continued pursuit of this is an attempt to limit freedom in South Carolina, and, fundamentally, it makes you look like a jackass.

I want to say thank you for standing for South Carolina values that marriage should be between a man and a woman at the Supreme Court today. I stand with you. It is a dangerous and confusing world our children are growing up in. Keep fighting.

Would you be so kind as to provide a campaign email address we can use to send you a link to a candidate survey for a voter guide we are producing in partnership with American Family Association Action? We tried and but the emails both bounced. This voter guide will be dispersed statewide to general election voters. The survey deadline is September 2nd.

Thank you,
