Republican candidate for Attorney General Alan Wilson has received the endorsement of 60 current and former South Carolina prosecutors.

Alan Wilson has received the endorsement of numerous highly decorated veterans from wars spanning the past 70 years. Co-Chairs of Veterans for Wilson include Adjutant General Stanhope S. Spears and Medal of Honor Recipients Major General James Livingston, U.S. Marine Corp Retired and Colonel Charles Murray, U.S. Army Retired.

Alan Wilson received the endorsement of several prominent South Carolina Christian conservative leaders today including Dr. Bob Jones, III and a 100% Pro-Life rating from South Carolina Citizens for Life.

Alan Wilson released his first television ad today. “Family” will air statewide and features the former prosecutor and Iraq war veteran discussing his family and his goal as Attorney General, to keep South Carolina families safe.

Former Assistant Solicitor and former Assistant Attorney General Alan Wilson recently won two major straw polls in his race for the Republican nomination for Attorney General. At both the South Carolina Republican Party’s Silver Elephant Dinner on April 24th and at the Berkeley Republican Breakfast Club on May 1st, Alan Wilson emerged as the favorite for Attorney General.

Vast Majority of SC Sheriffs Believe Wilson is the Proven Prosecutor Needed to Keep Families Safe

COLUMBIA, SC – A vast majority of current and three former South Carolina sheriffs have endorsed Alan Wilson for Attorney General.

To date, twenty-nine of South Carolina’s forty-six sheriffs have endorsed a candidate for Attorney General. All twenty-nine of those sheriffs, listed below, have united behind Wilson.

This bill is bad medicine. It is bad policy. It is bad economics. And if I’m elected Attorney General, I will fight it tooth and nail all the way to the United States Supreme Court.
