Alan Wilson Endorsed By Upstate Sheriffs & Local Conservative Leaders In Major Announcement

Wilson secured endorsements from Upstate law enforcement officials and conservative leaders in a Greenville press conference Monday

Columbia, SC - South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson today received endorsements from every sheriff  in the Upstate region, as well as local conservative leaders including Rep. Mike Pitts, Rep. Josh Putnam, Senator Scott Talley, and Greenville County Councilman Bob Taylor. Watch the press conference on Facebook Live here.

Representative Mike Pitts, the SC State House Ethics Committee Chairman said, "Alan Wilson has not been afraid to go up against Washington to protect our rights and individual liberties." He continued, "I'm fully endorsing my good friend and Attorney General, Alan Wilson."

Greenville County Sheriff Johnny Mack Brown said, "Attorney General Alan Wilson is a reliable partner for law enforcement in our efforts to keep our communities safe." He continued, "I'm proud to stand with Alan Wilson, and I look forward to continuing our work to put human traffickers, gangs, and child predators away."

Greenville-Spartanburg State Senator Scott Talley could not attend, but said in a statement, "Alan Wilson is a trusted conservative and a proven prosecutor who South Carolina needs in the Attorney General's office. I've known Alan Wilson for years, and I'm proud to support his campaign for re-election."

Governor Mike Huckabee also recently endorsed Attorney General Wilson's campaign. Wilson boasts a growing list of 24 sheriffs endorsing his campaign and several elected prosecutors. The Republican Primary runoff is slated for June 26.  The following Upstate leaders endorsed Wilson's campaign today:
