National Rifle Association Gives Wilson an “A” Rating

WEST COLUMBIA, SC –Republican candidate for Attorney General Alan Wilson has received an “A” rating from the National Rifle Association.

Alan’s unwavering support of our Second Amendment rights was the driving force behind the rating.  NRA members across South Carolina recognize the “A” rating as an honor bestowed upon candidates who support gun owners and sportsmen.

“As a life member of the NRA and a gun owner, I am proud to receive this distinguished rating.  I promise to always stand up for the right of every law abiding U.S. citizen to own firearms,” Wilson said.

In addition to the NRA “A” rating, Alan Wilson has received the endorsements of nearly 30 sheriffs, 60 current and former prosecutors, numerous distinguished veterans, and several prominent state GOP figures.

Wilson is a proven prosecutor and an Iraq War combat veteran. He is a former Assistant Solicitor and a former Assistant Attorney General.  Wilson and his wife Jennifer have two young children, Michael and Anna Grace.  They live in Lexington.
